Early window has the best shot at a fun pick: still-small but punchier wrapped NW swell, with thigh-high runners and occasional waist-high sets. Light E trades are mostly offshore for this coast, but there is enough short-period sea in the mix to keep some texture. Low tide late morning can make sections fast and closey.

Midday stays on the small side for Kahe and Nānākuli. Expect mostly thigh-high surf with a few waist-high pulses, but with longer lulls between the better ones. Expect mostly thigh-high lines and only occasional waist-high set waves at select peaks. The higher afternoon tide tends to fatten it up and reduce punch, so it may look better than it feels unless you time a good set.
